Your scope:

  • Oversee the strategic development and implementation of IT consulting initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering innovation in digital transformation processes.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of bespoke IT solutions, facilitating knowledge transfer and optimizing resource allocation to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of client IT infrastructures, identifying opportunities for optimization and recommending scalable architectures that integrate emerging technologies.
  • Drive business development efforts by cultivating strategic partnerships and preparing proposals that articulate value propositions grounded in empirical data and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate project outcomes through rigorous performance metrics, contributing to scholarly discourse on IT consulting methodologies via publications and conference presentations.

Your profile:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding doctoral qualifications or equivalent research experience.
  • Extensive professional tenure in IT consulting leadership roles, ideally spanning a decade or more, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multinational projects.
  • Profound proficiency in contemporary IT paradigms, including cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, and artificial intelligence applications, evidenced by certifications or peer-reviewed contributions.
  • Exceptional leadership acumen, encompassing the ability to mentor subordinates, navigate interdisciplinary collaborations, and resolve conflicts through evidence-based decision-making.
  • Superior communicative competencies, enabling the articulation of intricate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

As part of its continued expansion, the position of Vice President Research & Development (R&D) Offshore Wind (m/f/d) is vacant

Your Tasks

Develop and implement the R&D strategy for the offshore wind segment at both national and international levels.

Lead and develop an interdisciplinary team of experts.

Oversee complex innovation and development projects for offshore energy technology components (including low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems).

Design and implement operations, maintenance, and service strategies for offshore wind farms.

Analyze operational data to identify and deliver efficiency improvements and optimization opportunities.

Ensure technical quality and compliance with regulatory standards while continuously advancing methods and processes.

Build and maintain partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and service contractors.

Your Profile

Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.

Several years of leadership experience in R&D or technical management roles, ideally in the offshore wind or energy technology sector.

Solid knowledge of low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems as well as relevant standards and regulations.

Experience in developing and implementing operations and maintenance concepts.

Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong execution skills and a collaborative approach.

Outstanding leadership qualities

Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Fluent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
