Our client is a german technology firm (tools) with over 1,500 employees in south germany.
Your scope:
- Responsibility, maintenance, and further development of the IT landscape nationally and internationally
- Standardization and homogenization of the implemented solutionsFurther development of the SAP ERP landscape and migration to SAP S/4HANA
- Management of external service providers
- Development and implementation of CRM solutions
- Support and consultation of specialist departments regarding CAD/CAM applications
- Support of specialist departments in process improvements/optimizations
- Automation of process workflows
- Advancement of digital transformation and related digitization projects
- Definition and monitoring of service levels / escalation point for specialist departments / contact person for external IT service providers
- Leadership and future expansion of the IT department (currently 2 employees)
- Budget planning and responsibility for the IT sector, IT controlling
- Continuation and further development of the IT strategy in alignment with the corporate strategy
- Conducting tenders for services (specifications/requirements)
- Ensuring IT security and IT compliance
Your profile:
- Completed university degree, ideally in the fields of industrial engineering, computer science, business informatics, or engineering sciences
- At least 3 years of experience as an IT manager, head of infrastructure, or SAP/ERP, or as a deputy IT manager
- Experience in leading and motivating employees
- Knowledge of modern IT architectures
- Extensive experience in the field of SAP ERP, possibly already with experience in the SAP S/4HANA environment
- Very good knowledge of technical processes and workflows
- Experience in the area of „outsourced IT solutions“ and in insourcing IT services
- The ability to create efficient overall solutions from the right mix of build and buy decisions
- International mindset with good English skills and cultural openness
- Strong communication skills
