Your scope:

  • Strategically lead the development and delivery of consulting services, aligning solutions with the green energy sector’s sustainability goals and technological advancements to drive client impact.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of innovative consulting frameworks, integrating renewable energy technologies and data-driven strategies to optimize client operational efficiency.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the green energy ecosystem, leveraging interdisciplinary expertise to deliver scalable solutions for decarbonization and energy transition.
  • Direct the evaluation and optimization of client energy systems, employing rigorous analytical methodologies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in green energy consulting through publications, industry conferences, and collaborative research, advancing the firm’s reputation as a pioneer in sustainable technology solutions.

Your profile:

  • Advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding doctoral qualifications or equivalent research contributions.
  • Extensive leadership experience, ideally spanning over a decade, in consulting roles within the green energy or sustainability sector, with demonstrated success in managing complex, multinational projects.
  • Profound expertise in green energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydrogen, and energy storage systems, substantiated by certifications or contributions to peer-reviewed research.
  • Exceptional strategic and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams, engage with C-level stakeholders, and drive consensus in interdisciplinary settings.
  • Superior communicative proficiency, enabling the articulation of complex technical and sustainability concepts to diverse audiences with academic precision and strategic clarity.

As part of its continued expansion, the position of Vice President Research & Development (R&D) Offshore Wind (m/f/d) is vacant

Your Tasks

Develop and implement the R&D strategy for the offshore wind segment at both national and international levels.

Lead and develop an interdisciplinary team of experts.

Oversee complex innovation and development projects for offshore energy technology components (including low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems).

Design and implement operations, maintenance, and service strategies for offshore wind farms.

Analyze operational data to identify and deliver efficiency improvements and optimization opportunities.

Ensure technical quality and compliance with regulatory standards while continuously advancing methods and processes.

Build and maintain partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and service contractors.

Your Profile

Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.

Several years of leadership experience in R&D or technical management roles, ideally in the offshore wind or energy technology sector.

Solid knowledge of low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems as well as relevant standards and regulations.

Experience in developing and implementing operations and maintenance concepts.

Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong execution skills and a collaborative approach.

Outstanding leadership qualities

Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Fluent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
