Our client is a well-established company in the healthcare sector, operating a continuously expanding network of over 400 care centers and practices across Europe.

The company is distinguished by high medical standards, the use of modern technologies, and a collaborative partnership culture. In line with its ongoing growth, the position of CIO has been newly created.

Your Tasks

Development and implementation of a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategy.

Design and management of robust cybersecurity measures and development of risk mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular IT risk assessments, continuous monitoring, and elimination of potential vulnerabilities.

Support for internationalization through IT, including integration of new acquisitions and ensuring a consistent security level.

Strategic planning and execution of cross-functional digitization initiatives.

Leading projects for IT system consolidation and data standardization, including the implementation of interfaces to operational systems.

Optimization of the central data lake and development of a business intelligence system to enhance efficiency and improve controlling.

Collaboration with external service providers and internal IT and management teams to develop and implement joint IT strategies.

Your Profile

Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Several years of experience in leading and implementing cybersecurity and digitization projects, ideally in an international and decentralized environment.

Experience with common practice management and billing systems in ambulatory healthcare (e.g., Medistar, Turbomed, DATEV, Sage) is advantageous.

Strong enthusiasm and initiative to actively shape IT and cybersecurity strategies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing complex issues.

Outstanding leadership qualities and experience in building and managing cyber, IT, and digitization teams, as well as communicating with IT managers.

Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Fluent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
